Mono by Revolut, cover: An AI-powered personal finance feature for Gen Z India
My role
Solo, end to end: research, synthesis, concept testing and product design
Duration
12 weeks
Type
Self-initiated concept

The question

Could Revolut build a personal finance experience for Gen Z in India that people actually trust?

What I did

Solo over 12 weeks. I audited 10 apps, ran 9 interviews and a 45-person survey, tested two concepts with 5 participants, then designed the winner.

What I found

People wanted AI help with money, but they wanted to see what it accessed and stay in control. The winning concept wasn't the most proactive one. It was the most controllable.

Independent concept. Not affiliated with or commissioned by Revolut.
